I can't work out what results have caused this trading halt. The announcement clearly says drilling results so it is not about the nickel and it clearly says Paris so it is not about Bullfinch. The following excerpt is the only reference to a recent drilling campaign in the latest quarterly from late July.

"Torque is planning to commence a follow up drilling program at the Paris Prospect. Torque anticipates drilling will re-commence in early August. Drilling will test the following:

• Western extensions of the Paris prospect high grade gold trends, with a view to rapidly increasing the gold inventory;

• The extent of the gold mineralisation continuity at the Paris South prospect, tracking historical high-gold grades within a strong, 300m long geochemical anomaly; and

• The Carreras, and Pavarotti geochemistry anomalies to test for sub surface gold mineralisation."

So assuming the drilling did only commence in early August four weeks seems too soon to expect assay results from that drilling. The only thing I can think of is that they sighted some visible gold (which may or may not mean much but does need to be reported on). But calling a trading halt for that would surely be theatre. Anyway, they have been quite quiet of late so a bit of excitement, even confected excitement, is not unwelcome. Another strike like Gascoyne's Never Never would be nice.
