Don't worry about sodium batteries. It's chemically impossible for them to have close to the energy density of the equivalent lithium battery. The development and rollout of sodium batteries is happening but they are inferior and are here only as a result of the widening gap between supply and demand for lithium. I hope sodium batteries stay around because that would mean ongoing super high lithium prices and lithium batteries would be a premium product only used in high end products.
