@rick64 , re: MFI, I found the simplest way to see if a breakout is true to form is when there's simultaneous bullish 9/20 ema cross and a strong MFI cross above the 50 line. MFI is essentially RSI harmonised with volume.
you'll notice some 9/20 cross doesn't come with 50 MFI cross and these often fails
