Don't know where u are getting your gold modelling. My take is that the money supply has increased by 40% and this makes the $1200 - $1300 low in gold to reset to $1700 - $1800 range. Gold has just re-adjusted and should increase from here.
You can also use the inflation increase from 2012 to get simular results.
