    I have myself noticed that whenever a newspaper runs a trading competition, the "monkey" or dartboard selections always seem to win or at least rank very high - they are never last.

    I think New York Times ran a phantom portfolio for many years and the "monkey throwing a dart" random portfolio finished top 2 for 3 years in a row , or something like that.

    Let's be honest, if we were that good, most of us wouldn't be working for a quid would we ?
