Minerva, I agree! No formal customer contracts are required to satisfy the certification. I didn't suggest they were required.
Just, as you quote, that there is a 'reasonable certainty' of that amount of gas finding a market, economically.
- Flow rates (that the gas can be economically extracted)
- A 'reasonable certainty' of finding a market for the gas.
(note that as the LNG prices raise domestic parity gas prices, the abililty to demonstrate "it costs less to extract than what might reasonably be expected to sell it for" becomes easier - there is simply a bigger margin to play with.)
Bring on the updated flow rates, ESG - we haven't heard anything since Christmas!
