This is terrific news.
Hopefully it'll lead to more Australian institutions and retail investors seeing the value present in YAL, with consequent further accretion to the SP.
Investors of all stripes dislike uncertainty, and the strangely structured Yankuang Energy offer created some. Many of us thought it'd never fly but 'Mr Market' seemed unsure. That's behind us now.
Interesting that very recent volumes in shares traded have been much higher than normal with YAL. It appears not since 2018 has there been similar market interest. Glencore's sale of its shares must have played a part.
