Do you know what the Copenhagen criteria are?

Any country that satisfies the conditions for membership of the EU can apply. These conditions are known as the 'Copenhagen criteria' and include a stable democracy and the rule of law, a functioning market economy and the acceptance of all EU legislation, including of the euro.

Russia is a corrupt Kleptocracy run by gangsters. It imprisons any opposition, murders dissidents abroad and engages in terrorist acts. I could go on forever about their appalling behaviour, but you would still no doubt continue to ignore the reality.
