Watchers ,particularly those who have dabbled in shares for a while ( and particularly at a corporate level,where companies take others over and other companies take pains not to be taken over),will know that a holder with 40% (or even less) can gain effective control by getting into bed with another significant shareholder. The deal with the WK will thus be very carefully structured to try to ensure that if there is a falling out between the directors in the future and the WK the WK will have difficulty in using his large 40% shareholding to propel him to an unassailable controlling position. The deal between the 2 parties will probably run to a dozen pages,on this point alone.
