The real question is are Builders getting Ripped off on Supplies?
It seems as if Wood and other Building Materials Suppliers have un-fairly put their prices up,
And are taking advantage of Builders Etc.
We have PLENTY of Pine Forests in Australia,
So why are they not Mandated to produce Pine for Building NOW ?
Why are Suppliers Using any Excuse such as Covid,
And Conflict No-Where near us,
To Falsely Inflate Prices?
Their needs to be an Investigation into Building Supplies,
And those Suppliers.
Any found of wrongdoing, eg. Putting Prices up at a disproportional rate to their Cost Increase,
Should be issued with HUGE Fines !!!!
If not Forfeiting their entire Business,
To then be Sold.
And for once the Fines should go to the Industry that has been screwed over by these Dodgy Suppliers,
Not just into the Coffers.
