I've been busy lately so have been away from HC for a few weeks, I've been meaning to ask your thoughts regarding EnerDel.
    (And anyone else's view obviously)

I know you believe in the future EnerDel will supply cells to Emera, it would make sense considering the cells used for both Microgrid test projects came via EnerDel, also receiving their UL 9540 certification BUT......

From my research I can no longer see the connection.
It's almost as if "the old EnerDel" had a complete shake up & no longer exists including all previous contracts.
There were multiple promises & failings, some possibly due to their own poor management & some to do with unfortunate circumstances, even going back to the Obama Administration & Ener1 there were issues therefore went Bankrupt even after receiving a Gov grant around 2012.
In 2021 Workhorse (EV Manufacturer) was relying on a major USPS contract (Multi Billion dollar) that never eventuated & therefore EnerDel lost the major contract to supply cells to Workhorse.
Workhorse C-1000 Vehicles were even returned to the distributers due to reliability issues, that was of the first 500 ordered using cell tech from EnerDel... There are no confirmations why there were reliability issues but it cost Workhorse millions.

PLH Energy (Fully owned U.S Co) purchased EnerDel (or what ever remained, I presume for their IP).
Enpower purchased EnerDels cell pouch equipment & facility in Phoenix.
    The CEO works elsewhere
Not one mention of Emera on Enerdels website
Not one mention of EnerDel on Emera's website.
Not one mention of EnerDel on Novonix's website.
Novonix recently supplied Emera 4 test Battery packs for the microgrid project, once again they bypassed EnerDel completely.

Maybe EnerDel had to reinvent itself in order to be a candidate to receive crucial Gov Funding.
In saying that there's possibly more of chance EnerDel could be connected to Emera now being US owned but maybe they have their own vision thats being driven by their owners PLH Energy & part of that arrangement was to cease all previous arrangements including Emera.

It just seems strange there's no link to EnerDel whatsoever, almost as if there was an agreement to go their own ways.

It also makes me wonder why KORE wouldn't be the supplier of Cells/Batteries to Emera using Novonix S/G & their tech.
    Makes more sense to me.
