Thats a very good point. The FDA would surely have to show pragmatism here and assess the NDA via an expanded scope that includes usual care scenarios in addition to the Phase 3 results. Blinded trials are not easy to conduct because of known side effects so a measure of discretion would have to be factored in. (I hope)
