You right , but i agree share buy back now would be money very poorly spent money. Cash or shares as dividends is a good choice for shareholders ( if they have a drp) . Not that many shares on issue to warrant a buy back at this time in the market. A later date maybe. I dont fully understand the notes issue.
Put some money in oil and gas exploration and get more east coast gas supply exposure is better then a buyback. A few opportunities in Victoria/south Australia for that.
