The installment will be taken from your card each month so if you buy a bike for $1000 over 10 months an installment of $100 will appear on your card statement every month for that period of time. If you pay the minimum amount off your card at month end then you will pay interest on the balance on your statement, only if you pay the entire balance from your statement at the end of the month will you escape interest payments. The cc card company is charging you interest not splitit but you will pay interest if you leave a balance as per normal with most credit cards.
The notion that splitit transactions are interest free only exists in sneefs head.
