In response to Chewy "parties in the street if Gunns does go under"...I am not sure that you have really thought through the economic calamity that would happen in Tasmania if that does happen.
Gunns business underwrites a massive part of the Tasmanian economy. eg Do you really think businesses such as Launceston or Wynyard airport, all the service industry contractors and suppliers, or any other community business with substaintial revenues derived from salaries, royalties, contract fees etc etc will be happy if this company disappears?
Gunns is one of the biggest direct employers in Tas & indirectly the flow on economic benefits are absolutely massive. Tasmania is not a diverse economy. Tourism is down, mining revenues are down, fishing is down.
You might want to rethink that party expenditure...
