In Sandfire's Motheo T3 Mine the DFS recorded 39.9MT at 0.9% Cu. They have since boosted that with their A4 resource of 9.7Mt at 1.2% Cu and 18g/t Ag for 114kt of contained copper metal and 5.7Moz of contained silver.
Cupric's Khoemacau Zone 5 was higher grade and more Copper but SFR managed to get their mine on less, the strategy being to find satellite deposits within truckable distance to boost it.Zone 5
Over 253,000 meters of drilling for exploration and definition drilling from 2013 until March 2020 and a further 33,650 metres of on and off ore drilling since March 2020 has been completed at Zone 5. The total MI&I sulphide resources, as of June 2021 and inclusive of insitu and stockpile ore, at a 1.0% Cu cut-off are 92.4 million tonnes @ 2.2% Cu and 22.1 g/t Ag (~46% of the tonnes and contained metal are measured & indicated). The mineralization is predominately bornite, chalcocite, and chalcopyrite.
So in answer to your question 40 MT of 0.9% Cu ore with silver credits would be considered economic especially with the dearth of Copper mines globally and growing disconnect between supply and demand. All in my opinion ofc
