LOL the curse of modern management teams....the reliance on outside consultants to manage what a decent HR director should easily be on top of. Wasn't that long ago they brought in advisors for advice on how to return capital to shareholders(!?!). Maybe if they cut out the advisor budget, made decisions in-house that should be within the scope of management roles then they wouldn't have to cut staff benefits in a tight labour market which could really come back to bite them.
