From the original HPA project where "exponential demand" was forecast, to being a vertically integrated business are huge steps.

The "newly" discovered/realised/ appreciated benefit of spin down capacity makes this technology of interest to all conventional transmission networks.
Then imagine all the EV vehicles and additional loads coming, then imagine being able to fully (100%) utilise transmission lines by filling these energy banks located near "remote" communities and having enough reserve/ packs for the daily peaks. Even conventional generation likes to run steady state.

With quality batteries at reasonable pricing and of sufficient capacity the potential is huge.
This energy transformation is happening just like the computer transformation crept up and gathered momentum.
