They would have blood tests from the beginning. If any covid turned up along the way and did not get a foothold in an immune compromised person, that would be news, however, if it is massively effective, how much evidence will make it to the bloodstream? Could be a waste of time, could be world changing.

All they have to do is compare blood samples in any of the ongoing trial results since Covid started....!
How many of the Sydney patients had first contact with covid after their first blood draw, one must wonder.
