Sorry to ask what may be an inappropriate question.Ive always struggled to grasp the significance of market depth.When U list the buyers and sellers, does that mean only those who have placed,as yet,unfilled limit orders?ie is it correct to sat that it ignores all the other buys and sells that have been filled and only includes the limit orders outstanding.If so,what is the 'big deal' about this data?
