Why are you so fearful of China? They haven't demonstrated a taste for exporting their way of life to everyone around them, and they are still our biggest trading partner. The only risk to us from China is our strong relationship with the US, if they lock horns and we decide to go into battle then obviously we might be a target, though I'd argue they'd be more interested in leaving us alone if they could. But with a shambolic US or one in the midst of civil war, why would China suddenly represent a danger to us?
