Historical exploration at Mt thirsty was previously drilled and focused only on near surface oxide nickel - cobalt mineralisation, when infact of the 700 holes drilled less than 3.5 % were drilled deeper than 100 metres.
The gal discovery hole was hit at 144 mtrs and is now excepting the depth.. and regretfully none of those drills on our lease were even tested for PGE'S ...worse was no cores were kept.
They were so close ..so anyone thinking the jorc was uneconomical is completely misguided..it is considered now to be akin to penalty kick without a goalie.
You can thank a clever management team for saving thousands by waiting and deciding to drill deeper....
