Interesting, Sativex is also used to treat neuropathic pain and is approved in the UK, but not the US. Sativex was developed by GW Pharma. Perhaps the plan here is to use the delivery technology we developed and patented at curtin university, and then if this trial is successful, attempt to partner with a big Pharma company to conduct phase 3 trials, with the goal being the first cannabis based, FDA approved drug for neuropathic pain….fingers crossed
