It really is darkest before dawn....how many articles have I read about wbc merging (brands) and closing stores??!! They will hit their cost savings targets earlier than expected! we did a $3.5bn bb, paid a 60c ff div in our worst financial period ever (lowest nim)! What do U think we can afford to pay back when $5bn in cost savings are achieved in a rising NIM Enviro, to a reduced share register (buy back shaved >3% off the SOI)!!!??? This will eventually spike to $30 (imho) as divis will shoot thru the roof in the next two years (thank U RBA!!)...mkt chases yield in this sector and boy it will be big fat juicy ones (DYOR)
