ASX will only adhere to its mandates as a market watchdog regarding stock market behaviours if and only if it is being sued by a class action on behalf on retail shareholders for its blatant ignorance of its duty to protect ALL shareholders from manipulatory behaviours and its role of creating a level playing field for all parties involved, big and small, retail and institutional buyers/investors.

It's a little more complex of course... asx and markets need market makers to improve liquidity.. the trade off is some of the smaller trades we see....
