Niall Ferguson respected historian talks about the 70’s and reflects on similarities to now. He referenced China and spoke of China’s population halving in the next century.

He also spoke of the impact from China on the global economy currently which include: Zero Covid (they can’t control Covid), elderly aren’t vaccinated, population decline, no growth right now, massive debt, realestate collapse.

Surely this will negatively impact demand for raw materials especially those of EV’s given China’s the epicentre of EV demand.
