I don't name company as i don't want cross promotion ... ! but what you need to understand that deals where technology transferred usually goes with royalties unless you have received $500 million then may be you can give out full technology with one off fees or even sell a company and done with it but $15m is cheap and it becomes more cheap as your shares are now diluted ... lol .

The board of MX1 is not balanced by any shot .... ! You don't need so many lawyer on board for legal framework or negotiate the deal as you can hire them for this work ... and by any chance if lawyer can make a difference then you won't have diluted your shareholding and had a deal without royalties .. lol ... company hire lawyer and accountant and that is why i gave example of shine lawyer an asx listed company which pays dividend and has smaller board then MX1 and more relevant education background of the board with the industry they serve then what you got with MX1 in my opinion ... ! (I don't hold any shares in shine lawyer neither recommend it to buy/sell ... it was mentioned as an appropriate example).

you can keep yourself happy with dud deal which let go your technology for 1 off fees, provides no on going annual fees, provides no on going royalties (from technology you sold) and dilute your holding in my opinion... and all this done without shareholder approvals .. lol .. ! ... did anyone asked what happens if someone takes over Varex then what happens to what you sold in one off fees?

this is extremely poor deal in my opinion but sure you can love it .. !
