Not a result in the interests of all shareholders. Maybe more in the interests of a few larger holders and the MD? Our MD has dodged a bullet for the second time. I admit I really wanted Paul to feel the pain of the 249d only because he still won't accept or acknowledge his obvious failings, but he has cleverly managed himself an exit where neither happens now. The legacy of this Board will smell for some time unfortunately...

HOWEVER, on a positive note.... if two years ago our Chair announced:

"The Board has agreed we must match the skill sets of the Board and Management with the next phase of Mount Peake. I have advised the Board I am standing down and we are pleased to announce Neil Biddle has been appointed as Chair. Paul Burton has also agreed to step down and we are commencing a recruitment process as for a new MD. Paul will provide a 6 month handover to the successful candidate. We have also appointed Dr Anthony Robinson and are consulting with Major shareholders on nominations for one more Board appointment. Given the changing needs, we are seeking greater corporate support for Shareholder Communication and Paula has indicated she will also provide a handover while she pursues other interests..."

I feel (my fellow shareholders) we would have delighted at that announcement and the Share price would have likely gone to 20+ cents? We should acknowledge this is essentially where we landed structurally tonight.

It's just a crying shame a lack of competence to deliver, emotional intelligence and self reflection had Management waste another two years of company resources, create a heap of stress for shareholders, cost requisitioning members time, money and effort while creating substantial brand damage.

Thanks to the requisitioning members. We all owe you a drink! We appreciate you taking a stance and hope the changes create positive movement forward for all shareholders. It's well past time for the Board and Management to deliver what they say... pure and simple!
