I just watched today's presso and my attitude is that we couldn't ask for a more dedicated and tireless CEO. As for the posters who say they are LT holders who bag him out over the number of webcasts and the repetition (because THEY have heard it all before)... I reckon they need to exercise some respect for the fact that not every SH has had the luck and good fortune to have got into PTX at the ground floor. Its obvious that Steve doesn't need to preach to the converted... nor is he. Provision needs to made in educating those new to Prescient and new to our pipeline of therapies. Its clear that he chose to do a presentation ahead of the launch of CellPryme-A so as to give newcomers an overview. That way they will appreciate the significance of the CP-A in context of our platforms when it is unveiled.
Steve stated today that an announcement will be made Friday on CP-A (as already surmised on the forum today). Anyone who bags out how management is performing with its comms, marketing or performance are just being smart-arses. Its one thing to voice caution with regards to risks and realistic timelines, and one thing to grizzle about the SP, but to put the company down for the number of conferences or webinars they do, or blame the co for the SP, is just BS. We've recently landed not one, but two, collaborations with two of the most impressive names in the industry. Those two collabs alone could be what ends up putting PTX on the world map!
As for the SP having dropped to the CR price... so what? Most days that it did, it was to the tune of a few bot shares (the VWAP being 18c not 17.5c). The fact is the XHJ has just had 9 red days in succession and lost 2,900 pts. So, any poster who craps on about how our SP is reflective of how the market is valuing our assets and performance, IMO, has a self-serving agenda and is taking advantage of the current weakness in the market (which of course is their prerogative)... but please give our CEO a break, FGS. He has clearly been working bloody hard (not to mention must be sick and tired of having to regurgitate the same spiel presso after presso). I reckon he is deserving of every bit of praise. Bec and Dan will likewise be working their butts off. And, I hope they enjoy the conference and walk away with immense satisfaction and pride.
