Payments between bank accounts can take time
Some banks seem to process straight away, others seem to take a while longer.
Some payments will have been delayed due to the National Day of mourning
I don't understand why though; last time I heard it is all processed automatically by computers and I didn't think they took days off
The drp shares always take around 10-14 days to be allocated, I believe it is because BHP buys the shares on market
As a footnote
An accounting firm I worked at always processed the fortnightly wages on a Wednesday to be paid on a Thursday. I am with CBA and used to get my wages at 1.00pm on the Wednesday EVEN THOUGH my employer did not process the payroll until Wednesday afternoon AND they banked with a different bank to mine. Someone explain that
