You say, "i respect your individual right to smoke"
Then you say. "it is a terrible habit" ?????.
Then you say. "i see patients every day suffering from its effects though...it is so sad"
What about the patients that are suffering in hospitals that didn't smoke, including lung cancer, what was there excuse. How come they are not singled out.
But, I do agree, people should butt out in the utility supplied, however now days because of the stigma applied to smoke if there is no utility supplied I will not hesitate to butt out on the carpet. A little respect both ways would be handy and can the extra tax, that's just robbery.
