The IVR threads on HC are always interesting, for several reasons. Of the few stocks i own and follow, IVR is one that regularly features a background of opinion on the wider financial markets, the role ( currently, and historically) that Silver occupies, both as a monetary metal and a store of wealth.
A prominent feature, also, is the view that the price of
Physical Ag is manipulated by powerful forces for their own ends.
All opinions are valid, and the circumstances of individual investors are different, and only known by themselves.
After a new awakening in the wake of the 2008/2009 "financial crisis" i began buying physical Ag, mostly in the form of 1Kg bars. The Silver massacre of April 2011 put me in the red,which is where i'm still at.
However, the point of this post is this: Gold and Silver are last resort money, many, including many on this site know this, so do not be too distracted by the daily/weekly movements in the spot Ag price, the underlying reasons for owning PM's are more relevant now than ever.
