Hi Thanks for that link I do not understand the Cattle Councils opinion in favour of it . It would appear that Australia allowing the imports gives America the OK to say that Australia accepts our meat and in return put pressure on Japan and Korea to also open up their markets to American Beef. These are 2 of Australias big market for beef imports. The Americans did not care when they Subsidised wheat exports into countries that Australia was also exporting to. Why would they not also subsidise Beef Exports also into these markets Free Trade as I see things puts Australia on a very unlevel playing field Cheers Towie
