    SOD,

Does coal 1k down really get you excited? what ever happened to the OIL: and GAS?

Based on statement about you may not be fully aware of what 1k of coal under the ground can produce and generate for CTP, you seem to be miss information and from my interpretation you further imply that this coal is to be extracted by heavy equipment intervention.

Who in their right mind would want to mine coal in the middle of Australia, certainly not CTP. The intent of our coal is not to dig and extract the product, CTP intend to leave the product where it is and utilise other technology to convert coal to gas or potentially oil.

We can now safely say that out extensive coal measures in the Pedirka Basin which sould now amount to over 1 Trillion tonnes above 1,000m depth amy now cover the possibility of the Northern Territory government classifying UCG (Underground Coal Gasification) as an activity under the Mining Act. Underground coal gasification for example does not require extraction of the coals

We do not expect every new investor to fully understand the prospect that CTP have at their disposal however, giving rise to prospective recoverable resources of coal seam gas of 35 trillion-70 trillion cubic feet (991.09
    billion-1.98 billion cubic metres).

The importance of that is not that we want to mine coal this is sub-bituminous coal or steaming coal. It will probably never be used for anything other than the production of coal seam gas or perhaps the new process of underground coal gasification (UCG), which is generating great interest in Australia and in the US as well.

By the way the above is only a small description of opportunities that exist with coal without having to dig it up, the potentials are endless. Hope the above helps.
