First , the January date refereed to by the company when they took on the new MD seems to reflect that there is cash to take us through to early next year ? - so agree with Fooca there...

We only have two directors of both companies - Chairman of LLL is set to be replaced. So only two out of six directors at LLL. Agree - got to focus on the things such as the two companies are totally different - even with two directors on FFX board currently.

And I largely agree with @Aptayl post; that FFX did face large problems out of its control such as Covid, POG going backwards (but seems to be holding above $1620 - so could $1620 be the POG low?), Mali ecowas sanctions, unable to use our tax credits for a period?

The big problem is the company seems to need around $100 mill to get through all of the above and pay its current liabilities etc. But very luckily we have the LLL shares . Yes That is obvious - sorry!

Look on one hand (and as per some of my posts to date) I do think it would be a good outcome if a deal could be constructed where we exchange some debt for equity such as for our mining contractor and try to sell say 35% of the FFX company which holds the Morilla project (we hold 80% , Mali 20%) - so we may hold 45 or so % , a new investor j/v partner 35% and our mining contractor 17 or so % , of the FFX company that holds the 80% of the Morilla project. And then as Aptayl suggested, get a lone.

Seems like we are currently mining ore as apposed to striping over burden and cutting back? So mining costs may be minimal over the next few quarters anyway?

    However; on the other hand,

If there is currently a deal on the table as per my conjecture, for more than the 6 cents of the recap deal - then maybe that is the better way to go. Yes most share holders would probably take a loss, but they/we would have the option to move on. Perhaps putting that cash into LLL.

So i am sort of OK with both options if they eventuate - though a deal to take over the company at more than 6 cents a share is probably my preferred option.
