Just released ABS data shows continuing overall retail sales strength up 0.6% in Aug'22 compared with Jul'22 and up 19.2% on same month last year.
The spending in August in the Household Goods category was up 2.6% for the month of August and just 4% below the all time peak in November 2021.
The spending in Aug'22 was the second highest monthly spend during the last 12 months only beaten by Nov'21
All very positive for all three Adairs brands.
It should be an interesting update at the October AGM
