    Can we talk instead about things relevant to our current lifespan instead of pie in the sky?

    16% wow! So we all need to give up our personal transport convenience for 16%!

    And what percentage of world emissions are due to my personal ICE that I need to replace with a much more expensive and inconvenient piece of hardware? Sell it to me Scott, tell me what a good boy I will be.

    How much carbon is released by the manufacture of a single EV
    And the running of it on our fossil fuel based grid

    Also tell me about the impact of an EV battery going into the soil/ water tables, is that worse than carbon in the atmosphere?

    Lord. This is a silly argument. "inevitable" it may be, but why would you support it.
