Thats true...it was dropped because the Environment Minister was not going to give his approval.
The Environment Ministers decision supports and highlights what the Quinninup community have been saying all along.
It also highlights a poor understanding of project risk by Allup management.
Allup would do well to absorb the ministers statement and its intent:
"In this case,I have considered the high conservation values and public concern around miningactivities in State forest and I can advise that I do not intend to provide my concurrencefor exploration or mining in this area."
