I recently started a position in EVN on the US OTC market ( I am a US Investor). I had EVN on watch for a while and the post June q/yr end release where the price swooned made me take a hard look. I view the recent cost and production issues as temporary and coupled with the low price of gold lately decided to buy as a long term position. I was encouraged about their remarks in the latest quarter call transcript on Red Lake and their plans, plus the other low cost operations etc. So I paid about US1.35/sh and may add to this as a long term position for me along w Newcrest in the AUS mining market. ( I am also long Karora which does not list in AUS but is an AUS miner trading as KRR in Canada.)
GLTA, looking forward to how things develop in EVN and its large safe country assets. Bea
