"Its not that they havent been paid - its how the payments are accounted for.
Simply in the past they have been collecting all the revenue and then paying the owners.
Now the owners portion cant be included as income & then an expense but rather possibly held in trust or handled on their behalf & as such cant be included as revenue. "
This practise was noticed earlier on this forum.
I have never heard of a business allowing moneys received on someone else's behalf to be taken as revenue.
This is misleading shareholders.
