If your point is 'average' driving, then you don't need a Tesla et al.
Rego should be by weight & Nm & km's travelled....current batch of ev's should all be charged as if a V8.
(otherwise why do govt charge a higher ego for V8, compared to a 4)...its to cover the damage for the extra weight ect.
