Understand brine is pumped to evaporation ponds
All solids from the ponds are harvested = KTMS feed salt production
KTMS feed salt is fed into SOP purification plant
    The 2 outputs being
    1. SOP (about 8.7% of KTMS by weight)
    2. Waste salt which contains Mg
    Harvesting results 1/7/2022 to 12/8/2022 = 16.1kt of KTMS
SOP (if process was working properly) = 1.4kt (cumulative production of 1.7kt to 7/8/2022, 0.972t held at 30/6/2022 so only 0.73kt produced from 1/7/2022 to 7/8/2022. Allowing for differences in operating periods SOP plant is only picking up 62% of supposedly available SOP
    Waste salt harvested is 34.2kt

I am not understanding how the process works. How can waste salt be over twice that of KTMS

The annualised rate for the 1.5 months of KTMS harvesting is 129kt. In 3 months time the annualised target rate for KTMS is 900ktpa. A very big jump but I imagine , if the brine is there, an easy thing to ramp up.

For Salt Lake Potash, I think 3 of the issues were (apart from running out of money)
    1. Insufficient brine flow
    2. Low levels of potassium in the brine
    3. Problems with commissioning the plant

Potentially all 3 could be a problem for KLL

Interested in fertiliser companies in general for the industry tailwinds
KLL for potash - all other listed potash companies are years of production
    NRZ and STX for nitrogen
    CXM for phosphate

    Any help would be appreciated
