They have the role of financing and building the pipeline in up to the wells area, from memory. Rather than waiting for the gas to be tapped and ready to flow, before they start putting in the spur pipeline, they should commence very quickly so that the gas flow and the new pipeline meet up as soon as possible. That is both the ramp up of this field and the construction of the pipeline should occur in the same interval as much as possible. Red tape from local government and resistance from landholders to what would likely be an underground pipeline should be dealt with by Whitehall under emergency powers. Some money to the landholders for any inconvenience and marginal loss of income in short term should be included to calm the waters. This gas is needed yesterday so to speak, for economic and social imperatives. How far is planning for this already achieved if any? Lets hope they are not asleep. They should be mad keen to get the gas.
