If an economic resource is delineated the share price will reflect that, recession or no recession.
Copper has value as do all other industrial metals during times of economic weakness, which is followed by economic strength. Its a cycle.
The world doesn't just stop consuming copper. Industry keeps chugging along. Electrification of cars and renewable energy is picking up pace, not slowing down.
