Trading is like many things in life the more you doing it the better you become...not better in a money making sense, but better in following a procedure or plan...everytime I trade I follow a plan, it involves looking at the chart for entry signals, checking Market Depth and volume, deciding on position size $, setting a target, normally 10-15% and putting in a stop loss, amongst other things...but one important point for me is setting a target and getting off when it's hit, it takes discipline but it guarantees a profit, nothing worse than seeing a profit turn to a loss because you didn't get out when you were in front.

Make a plan and stick to it
