As a newcomer to GNS this board is fascinating.
We have the Tasmanian locals and green brigade that hate GNS with a vengence for all sorts of reasons.
We have the previous investors who have been burned for all sorts of reasons and they're not happy with the company.
We have a company that seems to have played the political game at one level and been unable to match its lobbying with commercial performance.
But ... yet again ... let's conside the big picture.
GNS dissolves ... what happens to the forestry assets? what happens to the jobs? what happens to the lost opportunities within a future world short of resources and power and long on popluation growth and consumption?
I wonder if things would seem different if Oil was US100/b and the AUD a little weaker.
Only a matter of time before this latter scenario occures, as all economists will understand, whereas stock board heros always tend to think the here and now.
Oh - by the way - I see the BOT playing with the sell side again today ... buy on fear sell on greed.
