    Perhaps it's time to resurrect the 'bank watch' thread.

    It went for a few years as enthusiastic 'stackers' loaded up on gold and predicted the demise of the banking industry, but as usual it worked in reverse.

    The banks are still there and the 'stackers' got poor.
