It's worth remembering that in an interview with Samso, Baz was laughing because a potential financier found out the amount of finance they were after and apparently said we don't look at anything under $300mil----the amount spruiked at the time was circa $100mil
Who is going to sign off on a Quarter of a Billion $'s for a 6.3 year mine life???----$250 million and probably rising as we speak!
Credit is drying up globally, we can scream all we like but assuming Baz and Co. know what they're doing they will certainly have explored all avenues for finance.
No matter the potential of Cyprium I simply cannot see any board signing off on $250mil for a 6.3 year mine with a chequered history like Nifty.
