I suspected that 0.25% might happen. From my post of last Friday:
"Expecting 0.5%. Very little chance of 0.75% because of RBA's track record of timidity. Possibility of 0.25% because of RBA's track record of timidity."

In my opinion, RBA ought to go specsavers. Demand is far too high for 0.25 steps to have enough effect. Inflation will now go higher and RBA will still collect their salaries. Hope their salaries are not linked to inflation.
