Yes, I too am very aware of this project, though I did not invest in it. There are a few catalysts that enabled this to happen, the prime one being energy security coupled with the concept of native ownership of the project.

It is certainly sad that you lost on this and I hope your other investments are doing well.

Just to be clear, RES is only one example of what you are making out to be the 'norm' for investing in SA.
